MBCHGDOC is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Change Documents" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_MBCHGDOC TYPE MBCHGDOC.
The MBCHGDOC table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Change Documents data available in SAP. These include LINE (Line Number), POSNR (Delivery Item), DOCCH (Text of length 132), CUSER (User name of the person responsible in change document).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure MBCHGDOC using ABAP code?
As MBCHGDOC is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on MBCHGDOC as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table MBCHGDOC
